By the second week of the induction journey, one reality had become increasingly clear: SCMHRD's vision for management education extends far beyond traditional classrooms and conventional business frameworks. From 15th to 17th June, our induction experience took an immersive direction through a specialized learning programme conducted in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation. Across three intensive days, the analytical focus shifted from understanding existing organizations to uncovering how ideas emerge, how opportunities are identified, and how future corporate leaders develop the mindset to act.
After a pause in the induction schedule over Sunday, Day 4 at SCMHRD felt different. The earlier sessions had introduced us to themes of sustainability, governance, and innovation. However, Dheeksharambh 2026 shifted the conversation inward-focusing not on what we will study over the next two years, but on who we could become through the experience. The day was less about orientation and more about perspective, serving as an invitation to view this MBA journey as a true period of personal transformation.
If Day 1 stretched our minds conceptually, Day 2 was a masterclass in balance. It marked our transition into the formal academic rhythm of an MBA, while simultaneously grounding us in timeless leadership strategies that textbooks alone cannot teach. We navigated our first real taste of the rigorous classroom routine, punctuated by a powerful celebration of regional history and governance.
When I arrived for the first day of SCMHRD's Induction Programme 2026, I expected standard introductions, orientation sessions, and a brief glimpse into what MBA life would look like. Instead, the day challenged something much biggerhow I think about leadership, business, and the kind of impact future managers are expected to create. Every session connected complex corporate decisions to people, systems, and long-term societal value.
