On 24th June 2023, our colleges supervisor Mr. Amit gave a lecture on anti-ragging. Ragging is a form of bullying that can have serious physical, psychological, and emotional consequences for the victim.There are a number of things that can be done to prevent ragging, such as raising awareness, creating a culture of respect, enforcing the laws, and providing support to victims.
Amit sir discussed the harmful effects of ragging and the importance of creating a culture of respect and tolerance in educational institutions and also outlined a number of things that can be done to prevent ragging, such as raising awareness, creating a culture of respect, enforcing the laws, and providing support to victim and if you are a victim of ragging, you are not alone, there are people who can help you.
He also discussed the laws against ragging and the consequences of engaging in it. They urged students to report any incidents of ragging to the authorities and to seek help if they are a victim.
The session was concluded by emphasizing that ragging is a serious problem, but it is one that can be prevented. By taking action, we can make our educational institutions safe and inclusive for everyone.
