



Today's session with Ms. Rashmi Lamba was a deep dive into something that affects all of usDiversity and Inclusion. It opened our eyes to the power of soft influence, the kind that doesn't dominate but inspires. We realized that inclusion isn't just a buzzword, it's about shifting how we see people, opportunities, and fairness.
In an intellectually stirring session, Mr. Anil Swaroop, an esteemed former IAS officer, shared powerful life lessons from his long and distinguished career in public service. Having worked under various ministers and across diverse departments, Mr. Swaroop emphasized one simple truth: focus on what is within your control. He explained how worrying about problems beyond our capacity is futile. Instead, small, consistent actions can create powerful change in our immediate surroundings.
In a highly engaging and enlightening session, Natasha Ma'am and Dipasha Ma'am walked us through the core concepts of Attainment of Learning (AOL), Programme Outcomes (PO), and Course Outcomes (CO), helping us understand what lies beyond classroom teaching at SCMHRD. The session emphasized the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) model, which puts learners at the center of the academic journey, making every assignment, discussion, and assessment deeply meaningful.
Early on June 12, 2025, our students started an exciting Outbound Learning Program at Surya Shibir Resort. We left campus at 7:00 AM, enjoying a scenic drive filled with green landscapes and mountain views.
In a truly inspiring session, we had the privilege of hearing from Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman, Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University). His message was simple yet powerful: we need to overcome our fear and adopt a "Let me try" mindset.
