The workshop started with a brilliant introduction on four pillars of education, namely learning to know, learning to be, learning to do and learning to live with others. Dr Sohani stressed on the importance of quality education as a key to development and how imperative it is to set priorities and be selective about your work. Effective learning, flexible reading, logical and critical thinking, use of intelligence and memory were some other topics that were touched upon by Dr Sohani.
The most entertaining part of the workshop was the activity session and the active participation by the enthusiastic students made the workshop a lot more interactive. There were seven different activities on creative thinking, interdependence, use of graphic organizers, memory and creativity etc.
In all, it was a very interactive workshop by Dr Chitra Sohani and the inputs from her end will definitely help the students in the long run.
