Shrenikk Jain-Branch Sales Head – Global Transaction Services, DBS Bank(Batch of 2005-07 (Finance))

Alum of the 13th batch of SCMHRD, Mr Shrenikk Jain has left no stone unturned while scaling up the corporate ladder within a very short span of time. As a student Mr Jain was part of the team that coordinated NEEV’06 when the annual b-school fest was revived after a gap of 5 years. With his active participation as a student at SCMHRD as well as a corporate, he has set an example for many for years to come. As a summer Intern we worked in the Cash Management division of XEROX India Ltd. His project involved giving a customer wise and branch wise report on the entire Cash Management process. Mr Shrenikk Jain has always seen success as an on-going and continuous process. After Graduating from SCMHRD he worked as a Business Analyst in the “Securities & Capital Markets” domain of the BFSI Vertical in Wipro Technologies. He undertook tasks like Functional requirements gathering from the client, Process Mapping as well as instilling his technical team with domain knowledge in securities & capital markets. Post his tenure with Wipro, he worked as an Associate Vice President – Global Trade & Receivable Finance (GTRF) domain of HSBC. He worked extensively for existing GTRF customers in the commercial banking space as well as the Global Banking (GB) segment in East India. He was also responsible for Product support to five sales team, comprising of 30 RM’s of Business Banking Segment in Delhi. As of August 2012 in a period spanning over 6 years Mr Shrenikk Jain has been serving as branch sales head – Global Transaction Services for Trade, Cash & Supply Chain Finance at DBS Bank. His work primarily involves Managing GTS sales business and the sales team for the Kolkata branch. He is also the Country Coordinator & Blackbelt in the Working Capital Advisory Program. Mr Jain’s expertise in Deepening customer relationships by matching their needs with suitable product offerings & solutions to meet the specific working capital requirements of existing and prospective customers has met with great success. He has also been responsible for Identifying and enhancing cross sell opportunities by offering various vanilla and structured trade and supply chain finance products. Mr Jain keeps very close ties with his alma mater which he describes as the 2 most memorable years of his life. He also took time out to visit the college last year for Homecoming .
