Session Topic: Evolving careers in the field of Business Analytics. On June 10, 2023, Mr. Vikas Parate, an alumnus of SCMHRD, gave a session on evolving careers in the field of business analytics. He discussed the growing demand for business analysts and the skills that are needed to succeed in this field. Mr. Parate began by discussing the importance of data in today's business world. He iterated that data is the new oil and that businesses that are able to collect, analyze, and use data effectively will have a competitive advantage. He also enlightened the students about the different roles that business analysts play in organizations. Mr. Parate concluded his session by saying that the field of business analytics is growing rapidly and that there are many opportunities for those with the right skills.
