The month of July marks the Birthday celebration of the Founder and Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. In addition, the onset of monsoon in western India is an ideal time for tree plantation.

In lieu of the 86th Birthday celebrations of the Chancellor-SIU Dr. S.B.Mujumdar sir, the constituent institutions of the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, conducted a tree plantation drive. The Director of SCMHRD (Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development) Dr. Pratima Sheorey, planted a Banyan tree- The Banyan tree symbolizes longevity and is believed to provide success and growth, truly conveying the heartfelt wishes SCMHRD would like to convey towards Prof. Dr. S.B.Mujumdar Sir. The plantation was done on the premises of SCMHRD on Jul 24th, 2021.
