With over 40 years of experience in film and TV production, advertising, and event management, Ms. Lamba brought invaluable insights and sparked meaningful discussions. As the 'India Council Lead' for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, Ms. Lamba's commitment to promote gender equality was evident throughout the session. She emphasized the power of diverse perspectives and the need for representation in various sectors which was displayed very profoundly in one of the short films - Juice. Ms. Lamba's roles as Industry Director at international Film Festivals showcased her dedication to highlight diverse narratives and foster global collaborations. In India, she spearheaded the FLO Film Festival, contributing to the growth of Indian cinema.
Through her own production companies, Ms. Lamba explored diverse stories and directed the acclaimed documentary 'Begumpura - The Wives Colony.' Her work has made a social impact, earning her recognition and awards.
